• Develop and maintain SOPs and preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues, investigate breakdowns, and prepare maintenance reports.
• Liaise with suppliers on machine design, maintenance services, repairs, and technical requirements.
• Support other maintenance and engineering activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Key responsibilities

Plan and coordinate work schedules for maintenance staff and workers.

Coordinate engineering projects and collaborate with the Maintenance, Production, Compounding, and Chlorination departments.

Prepare technical drawings, arrange material purchases, and support project implementation.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues, investigate breakdowns, and prepare maintenance reports.

Liaise with suppliers on machine design, maintenance services, repairs, and technical requirements.

Support other maintenance and engineering activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant training will be provided.

Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and technical repairs is an advantage.

Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and communicate with external suppliers.

Results-oriented, with good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
