Job summary

Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd is seeking a data- and field-focused engineer to analyze SAP service data for field troubleshooting and defect trends. You will communicate findings to customers and liaise with factory teams for product enhancements and countermeasures.

The role involves collecting field data, writing detailed reports, following up on epidemic issues, coordinating warranty claims, and contributing to QC meetings. A degree in M&E / E&E / Chemical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SAP service data for field troubleshooting and part defects; propose ideas to factory for improvement.
• Collect field and product operational data; write field reports and explain findings to customers.
• Follow up on epidemic issues and prepare factory-facing documentation and countermeasures.
• Coordinate warranty part claims with factory.
• Hold periodic QC meetings for internal staff.
• Monitor submission of defective parts to manufacturers.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly service performance reports and KPI analysis for management.
• Liaise with factory reps, suppliers, and key customers on technical matters.
• Update technical knowledge base and troubleshooting guides.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Field & product operational data collection, problem-solving, field reports writing, and explanation to customers.
• Follow up on all epidemic issues; prepare documentation for factory attention and immediate countermeasure.
• Follow up with factory on warranty part claim.
• Hold periodic QC meetings for internal staff.
• Monitor consolidation and submission of defective parts to manufacturers.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly service performance reports and KPI analysis for management review
• Liaise with factory representatives, suppliers, and key customers on technical matters
• Maintain and update technical knowledge base and troubleshooting guides.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management as and when necessary.

Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in bachelor’s in M&E / E&E / Chemical Engineering any related discipline.
