Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks an Engineer Maintenance to support production equipment in a high-tech cleanroom environment. You will troubleshoot, implement corrective actions, and drive improvements to optimize speed, cost and quality while ensuring readiness from start-up through ramp-up.

The role requires a degree (Bachelor/Master) and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong discipline to follow procedures and good communication within a team.

• Strong understanding of production equipment concepts.
• Disciplined approach to following procedures and work instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork across shifts and functions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead start-up activities up to release for production (RFP) for new or transferred equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement programs to increase Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in speed, cost and quality.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for equipment Availability, Reliability, Cost and Yield.
• Document status updates, communicate with teams, and train junior colleagues.
