Job summary

FFM Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to supervise inspections of building structures and utilities, and to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a food facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of three years’ experience in facilities maintenance within the food industry, with strong knowledge of safety and GMP/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in facilities maintenance preferably within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and facility management best practices.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing building structures and utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability efforts within the facility.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to workplace safety and environmental regulations.
