Job summary

JTY CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a responsible Site Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will assist in planning, coordinating and supervising daily site activities, ensuring drawings, specifications and schedules are followed.

You will communicate in Mandarin Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia, connect with contractors and suppliers, and prepare progress reports. This role offers a competitive monthly salary and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, site coordination and processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising daily construction site activities.
• Ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specs and project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and site safety.

Job Description

JTY CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is looking for a responsible and motivated Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing construction site activities, coordinating with contractors and ensuring that construction works meet project specifications, quality standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising daily construction site activities.

Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

Monitor construction progress, workmanship and site safety.

Identify site issues and assist in resolving technical and construction-related problems.

Prepare site reports, progress updates and relevant documentation.

Liaise with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to read, write, speak and understand all three languages.

Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field are preferred.

Relevant construction site experience is an advantage.

Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly salary: RM4,000 – RM7,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
