Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is assisting a Main Market-listed client in Kuala Lumpur's energy sector to hire a Business Development Deputy Manager for the Energy division. You will identify and pursue solar project opportunities, lead tender submissions and proposals, coordinate with consultants and EPC partners, and support early-stage technical and financial analyses to win long-term agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue commercial, institutional, and developer channels to expand the solar project pipeline.
Tenders & Proposals: Lead tender submissions, RFP evaluations, and proposal coordination with consultants, EPC partners, and asset owners.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with consultants, turnkey EPC contractors, off-takers, and authorities to secure project approvals and long-term agreements.
Project Support: Facilitate early-stage technical assessments, financial feasibility modeling, and high-impact client presentation decks.
