Job summary

FUJIFILM Business Innovation Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and compliance. You will coordinate schedules, validate data, and produce payroll reports while ensuring timely sign-off and bank file approvals.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of payroll or HR experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong Excel skills, and a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Payroll or HR, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Solid understanding of key HR and payroll processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and data validation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently with multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret payroll data and resolve issues effectively.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and manage payroll schedules, ensuring all stakeholders meet timelines.
• Validate payroll data to ensure completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies before payroll submission.
• Review and validate payroll outputs, reports, and bank files, supporting sign-off and bank file approval.
• Monitor onboarding and offboarding to ensure correct payroll setup and final payments.
• Liaise with payroll vendors, HRBP, Finance, IT and Compliance for smooth operations.
• Prepare payroll reports and handle statutory reporting and submissions.
• Develop and update SOPs, Work Instructions and User Manuals as required.
• Provide Level 2 payroll support to managers and employees; escalate if needed.
• Collaborate with HRBP on data gathering, validation, and adjustments (bonuses, salary changes).
