KONE Malaysia is seeking a Service Technician for the Service Maintenance team in Johor Bahru. You will attend fault calls, service escalators and elevators, and perform maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in elevator/escalator, basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, own transport and a valid motorbike license, and a service mindset with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in elevator/escalator industry.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Service mindset and customer focus.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Own transport and valid motorbike license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic digital skills to use KONE system on mobile.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lift maintenance and fault resolution.
• Report work in real-time to inform customers.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and installations with team.
• Manage daily workload with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety at all times.
• Provide training/coaching as needed.
