Job summary

NTM AUTOMATION (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for automation solutions. The role entails applying safety, efficiency, and performance standards across projects and delivering innovative automation technologies to clients.

You will design electrical systems, perform calculations, produce drawings, and validate systems through testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, power distribution and control systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.
• Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems or industrial automation technologies.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and components for automation applications.

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and validation of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Install, commission and maintain electrical equipment and systems at client sites.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare technical reports on project progress and findings.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join NTM AUTOMATION (M) SDN BHD in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical and electronic systems for our automation solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and performance. This role is integral to our operations and directly contributes to the successful delivery of innovative automation technologies to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and components for automation applications

Conduct electrical calculations, simulations and analysis using industry-standard software and tools

What we're looking for
