Job summary

DNC Automation (M) Sdn Bhd invites a skilled Mechanical/Mechatronic engineer to conceptualize, design, and detail machine and conveyor system parts using CAD tools. You will generate detailed drawings, review specifications, and ensure accurate BOMs for procurement.

You will support presales with design concepts, coordinate with field teams and subcontractors, and supervise drafting activities to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic-related engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• 3+ years in conveyor systems or machine design.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and generate mechanical detailing drawings for industry machines, conveyors, and layouts using CAD tools.
• Support presales by providing design consultations, analyzing project requirements and specifications, and determining costs.
• Coordinate with project teams, manage field activities, organize subcontractors, review drawings for trades, and ensure correct implementation and scheduling.
• Generate BOM lists with company-standard parts for procurement.
• Attend kickoff meetings to understand project requirements and supervise detailed drawing generation.
• Continuously develop new product knowledge for the mechanical team.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Conceptualize, developing, designing & able to generate mechanical detailing drawing on industry machine, conveyor system and mechanical layout as well as computer-aided design (CAD) software,

Support presales by providing consultation on conceptual design to the end user, analysis the requirements and specification of a project and determine the cost involved

Work with project team on daily operations of field work activities and organization of subcontractors; coordination of the implementation of a project, ensuring it is being built correctly; project schedules and forecasts; interpretation of drawings for tradesmen; review of engineering deliverables

Specifications and quality control/inspection before materials delivery

Generate BOM list with company standard parts selection for procurement process

Attend Kick off meeting to understand project requirement

Supervise and perform detail drawing generation

Continuous development of new product knowledge for mechanical team

Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): AutoCad, Solidwork

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the conveyor system or machine design is required for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in Selangor, Puchong

Preferably Executives specializing in Engineering - Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
