in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to maintain electrical, instrumentation and utility equipment within the plant, evaluate performance, and support safe operations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance inspections, fault diagnosis, calibrating sensors, troubleshooting wiring systems, reviewing electrical and control drawings, and assisting commissioning, start-up and servicing activities to ensure reliable plant uptime.

Qualifications

• Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Able to review electrical and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of work and productivity of the maintenance team
• Perform maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and utility equipment within the plant
• Ensure electrical installations comply with safety requirements and SPCI OSC standards
• Carry out preventive maintenance inspections on all assets and implement corrective actions for electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Monitor and record monthly electricity consumption, power factor and any reported power quality issues
• Prepare, update and review electrical drawings
• Conduct engineering assessments and safety inspections related to electrical and instrumentation systems
• Troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical wiring systems
• Perform troubleshooting and calibration of instrumentation equipment, including temperature and pressure sensors
• Carry out electrical and instrumentation commissioning, start-up and servicing activities
