Job summary

HEY ROCKET PTE LTD in Banting, Selangor seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to maintain plant E&I, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements across a hands-on role.

You will participate in project engineering, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Strong candidates bring 5+ years in maintenance and E&I experience in process environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a process plant environment.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) experience.
• Experience with instrumentation, calibration and weighing systems.
• Experience in electrical switchboard/distribution board maintenance.
• Good knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.

This is a hands-on engineering role covering plant maintenance, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), troubleshooting, project engineering, commissioning, and process improvement at a leading manufacturing/process plant in Banting, Selangor.
