Job summary

SPCI OSC SILICATE (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain electrical, instrument and utility equipment at our plant. You will ensure compliance with SPCI OSC standards and contribute to engineering solutions for plant systems.

The role involves preventive maintenance, safety inspections, recording power usage, drawing reviews, commissioning, start-up, and servicing, with responsibilities to troubleshoot 1- and 3-phase wiring and calibration of sensors.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and output assessments on the maintenance team
• Maintain electrical, instrument and utility equipment at the plant
• Ensure electrical installation safety and compliance with SPCI OSC
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspection for all assets and corrective action for electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Record monthly electricity consumption, power factor and feedback for power quality issues
• Write and review electrical drawings
• Conduct engineering studies and safety inspections related to electrical and instrumentation
• Perform troubleshooting for 1 phase and 3 phase electrical wirings
• Carry out troubleshooting and calibration on instrumentation equipment temperature and pressure sensors
• Conduct electrical and instrument commissioning, start-up and servicing
