Job summary

Tanaka Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an EHS leader to oversee the implementation of environmental, health, and safety practices across the manufacturing site.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a degree with at least five years in related work, preferably in manufacturing, and a strong knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Qualifications

• Degree with 5 years of related work experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication to convey safety protocols to all levels.
• Experience in developing and maintaining EHS programs and SOPs.
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of EHS practices and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Assist the EHS Committee in organizing workplace EHS programs.
• Act as RBA liaison, supporting system oversight and customer inquiries.
• Converge Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety practices in daily operations.
