Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an EHS Executive to elevate safety and environmental performance at a high-tech manufacturing site. The role focuses on implementing site-wide HSE frameworks, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across production areas.

You will maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, run audits, and deliver safety training. The ideal candidate holds a related bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years’ experience, and knowledge of OSHA/EQA plus ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on EHS implementation, risk management and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of local EHS legislation (OSHA, EQA) and management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• CePSWaM certification strongly preferred; DOSH registration as SSS/SHO adds advantage.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and enforce site-wide HSE frameworks, fire protocols, chemical safety, and security policies per regulatory and corporate standards.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, facilitating internal audits, process updates, and safety training modules.
• Perform routine facility risk evaluations, hazard assessments, and safety inspections with CAPA execution.
• Champion operational safety standards across production lines, ensuring PPE compliance and hazard controls.
• Direct physical security protocols, conduct site risk reviews, and lead emergency preparedness and response strategies.

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience driving EHS implementation, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing facility.
• Strong working knowledge of local EHS legislation (OSHA, EQA) and management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• CePSWaM (Scheduled Waste Management) certification is strongly preferred; DOSH registration/certification as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) or Safety & Health Officer (SHO) is an added advantage.
