Qualifications

• Experience in egg production, grading, or food processing is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, quality control procedures, and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and record-keeping.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings if required.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay.
• Physical capability to perform supervisory duties in a production environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the egg grading centre, including receiving, grading, sorting, and packaging of eggs.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the grading centre team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout production, conducting regular inspections for food safety.
• Manage production schedules and ensure targets are met efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Conduct staff training and development programmes to enhance team skills.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality metrics, and staff attendance.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance requirements.
• Promote workplace health and safety protocols, including proper handling of products.
• Liaise with management regarding performance, staffing needs, and improvements.

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining quality standards, and leading a dedicated team to meet production targets. Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the egg grading centre, including receiving, grading, sorting, and packaging of eggs
• Lead, supervise and motivate the grading centre team, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the grading and packaging process, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage production schedules and ensure targets are met efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards
• Conduct staff training and development programmes to enhance team skills and productivity
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality metrics, and staff attendance
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements
• Implement and promote workplace health and safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of products
• Liaise with management regarding production performance, staffing needs, and operational improvements
