San Soon Seng Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee the production line, ensure SOP compliance, and drive safe, efficient operations to meet targets.
You will supervise inspections, coordinate with maintenance, ensure food safety, mentor staff, document activities, and report performance to senior management while coordinating with logistics for inventory.

Supervise and manage production line operations, ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and work safely and efficiently
Monitor production output, quality standards and adherence to production schedules to meet daily,weekly and monthly targets
Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment and work areas to identify
maintenance needs and report issues promptly
Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment breakdowns and
Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and
company quality control policies
Train, coach and mentor production staff on proper techniques, safety protocols
and company procedures
Document production activities, including output reports, incident logs and
quality assurance records
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
within the production environment
Communicate effectively with senior management, reporting on production
performance, challenges and resolution actions
Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with the
logistics team

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production supervision or assistant
supervision within manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating production teams to
achieve targets and maintain quality standards
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control procedures and
relevant regulations
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to
prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in reading and interpreting production schedules, technical
drawings and quality specifications
Sound understanding of machinery operation, maintenance requirements and safety
protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work
collaboratively across departments
Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to respond quickly to production
issues and bottlenecks
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and
food safety
Flexibility to work shift patterns, including early morning and evening shifts
as required
Basic computer literacy and proficiency with production management or ERP / SAP
systems is advantageous
Relevant certifications in food safety or supervisory training are preferred
but not essential
