Job summary

HUAT LAI RESOURCES BERHAD is seeking an Egg Grading Centre Supervisor in Sengkang, Johor. This full-time role oversees egg grading and packaging operations, ensuring efficient workflows and strict quality standards across a dedicated team.

You will monitor quality controls, coordinate production schedules, and lead staff training to meet targets while maintaining safety and compliance in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or team leader experience in manufacturing, logistics, or agricultural production.
• Experience in egg production, grading, or food processing is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, quality control procedures, and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and record-keeping.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings if required.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay.
• Physical capability to perform supervisory duties in a production environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the egg grading centre, including receiving, grading, sorting, and packaging of eggs.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the grading centre team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout production, conducting regular inspections for food safety.
• Manage production schedules and ensure targets are met efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Conduct staff training and development programmes to enhance team skills.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality metrics, and staff attendance.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance requirements.
• Promote workplace health and safety protocols, including proper handling of products.
• Liaise with management regarding performance, staffing needs, and improvements.
