Job summary

Sinma Digital Commerce Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team in Malaysia. You will handle AR, AP, e-commerce transactions, bank reconciliations and general accounting administration, supporting multiple platforms and payment gateways.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/degree in accounting with at least 2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SQL Accounting Software. Immediate start is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and general accounting procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to use computerized accounting systems.
• Experience with SQL Accounting Software and e-commerce platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable including staff claims and tax payments in accordance with policies.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, issue invoices and monitor collections from platforms and gateways.
• Record and reconcile e-commerce transactions across Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop and other platforms.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting for internal use.
• Maintain documentation and filing of accounting records, and support audit requests.
