Job summary

GERHANA PELANGI SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities. You will carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, monitor costs, and assist in contract administration to keep projects within budget.

The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors, attending site meetings, reviewing drawings for cost implications, and identifying procurement savings opportunities while ensuring compliance with ISO

Qualifications

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities.
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs and ensure budgets are maintained.
• Prepare and evaluate progress claims, VO, and final accounts.
• Assist in contract administration and maintain cost records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Attend site meetings and conduct site measurements when required.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify cost implications.
• Assist with procurement activities and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies and standards.
