Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a proactive Event Sales & Coordinator to manage client relationships and end-to-end event executions across our venue brands. You will be the main contact, turning inquiries into successful events.

The role involves handling inquiries, proposing packages, coordinating tastings and site visits, drafting EO, and ensuring flawless on-site delivery with strong English communication. Hybrid options available.

Qualifications

• Language skill: Strong written and spoken English is required.
• Education & Experience: Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Events, Sales, Marketing, F&B, or related field; client-facing event coordination experience is an advantage.
• Sales-Minded & Organised: Comfortable presenting proposals, closing sales deals, managing budgets, and multiple events.
• Adaptability & Ownership: Problem-solver with attention to detail; flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Tech Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and basic numerical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming event inquiries, understand client specs, budgets, and expectations; present tailored packages, menus, and proposals.
• Follow up with leads to close bookings, hit sales targets, and maintain client records.
• Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and high-profile individuals.
• Manage events end-to-end—coordinate tastings, site visits, timelines, EO briefings with internal and external teams.
• Attend on-site events to oversee setup, accommodate changes, and ensure client satisfaction.
