Sum Technic Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced M&E Draftsman to prepare detailed technical drawings for mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. You will coordinate drawings, translate engineers’ sketches, and produce as-built documentation while ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.

The role requires 2-3 years BIM modelling experience, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin a plus).

Qualificações

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in BIM Modeller or similar role.
• Proficient in BIM software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD) is required.
• Proficiency in preparing modelling drawing for CFD is highly preferred (Ansys SpaceClaim).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

The M&E Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. This includes coordination drawings, as-built documentation, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings for M&E systems using BIM software. Assist technical and tender team to prepare M&E tender drawings.

• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Possess own transport and valid driving license for site visits.
