Job summary

Specific Dimension Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya is seeking a skilled BIM Drafter to create and maintain 3D BIM models for M&E projects, ensuring accuracy and model integrity.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and designers, using Revit or ArchiCAD, and contribute to design and construction workflows. This role offers exposure to diverse engineering projects and opportunities to develop your BIM expertise in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a BIM Drafter or similar role in the engineering industry.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Formal training or certification in BIM or drafting.
• Experience with multiple BIM software platforms.
• Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Experience in engineering consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

The BIM Drafter will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality 3D building information models, ensuring efficient design and construction processes for our diverse range of engineering projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and designers to translate design requirements into precise BIM models while maintaining model integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar tools, ensuring models adhere to company standards, client specifications, and industry best practices

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to interpret design requirements and translate them into precise BIM models, conducting regular model updates and coordinating with team members to maintain model integrity throughout the project lifecycle

3. Technical Support & Quality Assurance

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, assisting with model-related queries and troubleshooting while ensuring all construction documents, drawings, and specifications are accurately reflected in BIM models

Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve workflows and deliverables, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and quality

What You'll Need

Must Have:
