Real Project Management is seeking a skilled Document Controller for Data Center projects in Malaysia. You will manage project documents in ACC, ensure proper registration, tracking and archiving, and coordinate with a wide range of project partners to secure timely submissions and approvals.
The role requires hands-on ACC experience, strong organization, and clear English communication. You will support audits, handover packs, and close-out documentation in a fast-paced environment.
Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, method statements, RFIs, submittals, technical documents, inspection records, and project correspondence using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and other document management systems.
Ensure all documents and records are properly registered, distributed, tracked, updated, archived, and retained in accordance with project requirements, company procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Main Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Clients to ensure timely submission, review, approval, and distribution of project documents.
Monitor and maintain document revision status, ensuring only the latest approved versions are available for project use.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, transmittals, submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and document workflows through ACC and other approved platforms.
Establish and maintain project document control registers, logs, filing systems, and document tracking reports for effective monitoring and retrieval.
Support project teams in document compliance, audit preparation, handover documentation, testing & commissioning records, and close‑out documentation.
Ensure proper control and maintenance of as‑built drawings, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, certificates, and handover dossiers.
Generate periodic document status reports and highlight overdue submissions or approvals to project stakeholders.
Maintain both electronic and hardcopy filing systems where required to ensure accurate and efficient document retrieval.
Provide administrative support, including document preparation, scanning, copying, filing, and distribution of project‑related information.
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all project documentation.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Strong document control and records management skills.
Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Document Management.
Excellent planning, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Knowledge of construction quality management systems and document control procedures.
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of document control experience in construction, preferably with Data Center, Mission‑Critical, M&E, or Large‑Scale Infrastructure Projects.
Mandatory hands‑on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including document management, workflows, transmittals, version control, and reporting.
Familiarity with document control standards, project lifecycle documentation, testing & commissioning (T&C) records, and project handover requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic document management systems.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and as‑built documentation.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, reliable, and capable of maintaining document accuracy under tight deadlines.
Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced project environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Good command of written and spoken English. Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and project teams.
Experience supporting ISO 9001 quality management systems and document audits would be an added advantage.
