Responsible for managing daily logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient material flow and uninterrupted production. The role covers inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, material planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving, storage, material handling, line feeding, and deliveries.
Maintain inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and timely material supply to production.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Monitor logistics KPIs, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and operational performance.
Lead manpower planning, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement Lean, Kanban, and process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
Support stock audits, resolve logistics issues, and minimise operational disruptions.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and material planning.
Proficient in ERP/WMS systems; AutoCount ERP experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of automotive production material flow, FIFO, Lean, and Kanban practices.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Ability to drive process improvement and cost optimisation.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
