Berjaya Corporation Berhad is seeking a Distribution & Logistics Assistant based in Johor Bahru to support daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely supply to production. The role covers receiving, storage, material issuance, inventory transactions, documentation, and coordination with suppliers and transport providers.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics/SCM/Business Admin and 1–3 years in logistics, with fresh graduates

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse and logistics operations for smooth material flow.
• Process inventory transactions in AutoCount ERP (GRN, DO, stock transfers, stock adjustments).
• Maintain accurate inventory records via cycle counts and stock takes.
• Ensure timely material supply to production per schedules.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, suppliers and transport providers to ensure smooth logistics flow.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

Distribution & Logistics Assistant (Based in Johor Bahru)

Responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth material flow, accurate inventory control, and timely supply to production. The role covers receiving, storage, material issuance, inventory transactions, documentation, and inbound/outbound logistics coordination.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, material issuance, and delivery support.

Process inventory transactions in AutoCount ERP, including GRN, DO, stock transfers, and stock adjustments.

Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock takes, monitoring, and reconciliation.

Ensure timely material supply to production according to schedules.

Maintain proper material handling, storage, and FIFO practices.

Coordinate with production, purchasing, suppliers, and transport providers to ensure smooth logistics flow.

Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

Report stock shortages, discrepancies, and operational issues to supervisors.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

1-3 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory, or distribution. Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.

Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and transportation coordination is an advantage.

Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
