Job summary

Berjaya Corporation Berhad is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations from its Johor Bahru site. You will manage daily production, drive performance, and align teams with quality and safety standards to meet targets.

Based in Johor Bahru, you will champion Lean, Kaizen and 5S initiatives while coordinating with Quality, Engineering and Logistics to minimise downtime and optimise resources.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in engineering, manufacturing, production management or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in production/manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and production.
• Proven experience managing production teams and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

The role leads production teams, optimises manpower and resources, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with automotive manufacturing and safety standards.
