Job summary

Berjaya Corporation Berhad in Johor Bahru is seeking a Distribution & Logistics Assistant Manager to oversee daily logistics, warehouse operations, and ensure smooth material flow to production.

The role covers inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, KPI monitoring, and leading a team to implement Lean, Kanban, and continuous improvement initiatives while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and material planning.
• Proficient in ERP/WMS systems; AutoCount ERP experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean, Kanban, FIFO, and continuous improvements.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

• Implement Lean, Kanban, and process improvement initiatives to reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Support stock audits and resolve logistics issues to minimise disruptions.
