Berjaya Corporation Berhad is seeking an HR Executive for Manufacturing, based in Johor Bahru, to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced factory setting. The role covers recruitment, payroll support, attendance, employee records, and HR administration.
You will coordinate interviews, onboarding, attendance verification, performance processes, training, and liaise with Production for manpower planning, while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
Support daily HR operations in a manufacturing environment, covering manpower coordination, recruitment, employee records, attendance, payroll support, employee relations, and HR administration.
Responsibilities:
Support daily HR operations and manufacturing departments.
Coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, shifts, and manpower movements.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data.
Support payroll preparation, claims, allowances, and attendance verification.
Coordinate manpower requirements with Production and supervisors.
Handle employee enquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
Assist with performance reviews, confirmation, promotion, and transfers.
Coordinate training and maintain training records.
Support foreign worker administration and work permits where applicable.
Prepare reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and manpower costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian labour/statutory requirements.
Support HR projects, engagement activities, and process improvements.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
2-4 years' HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/automotive.
Experience supporting blue-collar/production workforce is an advantage.
Knowledge of recruitment, attendance, payroll support, employee relations, and HR administration.
Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
Strong communication, organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS/ERP experience is an advantage.
Good English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
Mandarin is an advantage for communication with China-based management/OEM teams
