The Director, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing, leading, and managing high-impact strategic partnerships that advance the organization’s business objectives, market position, and long‑term growth. The role will build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers of government, government agencies, government‑linked companies (GLCs), industry leaders, and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities, facilitate business outcomes, and create mutually beneficial partnerships.
The Director will provide strategic direction for the organization’s partnership agenda, lead complex negotiations and collaboration initiatives to translate relationships into measurable business and organizational value.
Develop and execute the organization’s strategic partnership strategy by identifying and prioritizing high‑value opportunities, building senior stakeholder relationships, and leveraging market, policy, and industry developments to expand the organization’s ecosystem, market reach, capabilities, and strategic influence.
Lead the development, negotiation, execution, and governance of strategic partnerships and MOUs, ensuring clear objectives, value creation, accountability, and performance while proactively managing risks and opportunities.
Represent the organization in high‑level engagements with government, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, strengthening relationships and providing strategic insights and opportunities.
Provide senior management with strategic insights and recommendations on partnerships, stakeholder dynamics, government priorities, and industry trends, while driving high‑performing partnership and stakeholder management.
Identify, develop, and convert strategic partnership opportunities into tangible business outcomes by translating relationships, market intelligence, government initiatives, and industry developments into qualified leads, commercial opportunities, new revenue streams, and sustainable growth.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, business development, government/stakeholder engagement, or related fields.
Strong experience engaging senior government officials, industry leaders, and senior decision makers.
Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen to identify opportunities and drive value creation.
Strong negotiation, influencing, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, maturity, discretion, and professionalism.
Demonstrates a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges.
