Job summary

Funding Societies Malaysia is seeking a Head of Funding and Investor Relations to define, develop and scale our funding strategy across institutional, private wealth and wholesale channels. You will own the capital base and build partnerships, optimise funding costs and drive growth.

You will lead fundraising initiatives, structure facilities, and develop products for HNW and private wealth investors, while managing relationships and reporting to executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in capital markets, treasury or related fields.
• Proven track record of defining and executing a funding or investor strategy.
• Experience structuring and closing funding facilities, incl. warehouse lines.
• Strong network across Malaysia's banking, digital banking, fund management and govt ecosystem.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
• Experience in BFSI, lending, private credit or investments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Malaysia funding and investor strategy across channels.
• Originate, pitch and onboard institutional funding partners including banks and fund managers.
• Develop and grow relationships with HNW investors and private bankers as a channel.
• Serve as senior relationship owner for key funding partners and investors.
• Lead structuring and execution of funding facilities and wholesale funding.
• Develop investment products tailored to HNW and private wealth investors.
• Build and manage a structured funding pipeline with targets.
• Own investor reporting, covenant monitoring and compliance updates.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Finance, Product and Operations.
• Align funding structures with unit economics and liquidity strategy.
• Represent Funding Societies Malaysia with banks, investors and regulators.
• Build a high performing funding and investor relations team.
