Job summary

Lumileds in Penang seeks a strategic Process Engineering leader to drive world-class manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, capacity and productivity. You will shape and execute engineering strategies that support growth and operational excellence.

You will lead engineering managers and professionals, partner with Site Leadership and cross-functional teams, and sponsor major improvement projects to raise process capability, reliability and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a managerial capacity in manufacturing.
• Extensive semiconductor manufacturing experience with leadership of Process Engineering teams.
• Structured improvement and problem solving knowledge.
• Strong organization, planning and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Process Engineering strategy aligned with site and business goals.
• Develop long-term roadmaps for technology, capacity and capability to support growth.
• Set performance KPIs across yield, cycle time, cost, OEE and productivity.
• Drive lean, Six Sigma and data-driven decision making for operational excellence.
• Lead process engineering functions across all manufacturing processes.
• Oversee process capability improvements to achieve high quality, yield and reliability.
• Ensure robust process controls and risk mitigation to prevent excursions.
• Lead standardization initiatives and share best practices across sites.
• Sponsor and oversee major improvement projects with significant business impact.
