Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software supporting manufacturing operations and data processing. You will lead technical directions, promote good engineering practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing applications.

The role requires strong experience in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, and integration with manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in manufacturing/enterprise apps.
Strong programming in C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
Good knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL) and Entity Framework.
Experience with debugging, production support, and system integration.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software for manufacturing data processing and automation.
Provide second-line technical support for manufacturing applications and resolve complex issues.
Analyse, enhance, and maintain existing applications built with C#, ASP.NET MVC, VB.NET, Perl, EF, SQL.
Design and optimize database structures, queries, stored procedures, and data workflows.
Integrate software with manufacturing machines and automation systems; collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
