Job summary

Lam Manufacturing Malaysia in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Manufacturing Director to lead end-to-end operations, driving world-class Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity. You will own capacity realization, govern large teams, and partner across functions to ensure efficient ramping and customer commitments.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of scaling manufacturing performance in high-tech environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading large, high‑growth manufacturing organizations with safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity ownership.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate strategies into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve SQDCP objectives.
• Own factory output and capacity realization for sustainable shipments and results.
• Drive operational discipline through robust management systems and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership for a large manufacturing organization and develop a strong culture of accountability and inclusion.
• Develop organizational capability and leadership bench strength through coaching and succession planning.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, NPI and Business Units to ensure seamless production plans.
