Job summary

Materion Malaysia in Penang seeks a process engineer to develop and optimize manufacturable process solutions. You will analyze data using process capability, GD&T, FMEA and DMAIC, supporting KPIs such as cost, uptime, 5S and safety.

You will ensure smooth transfer of process solutions to Operations and maintain 5S in the development area. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Chemical/Applied Science/Physics/Material Engineering with 5+ years in cleaning and lithography process engineering, plus

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical/Applied Science/Physics/Material Engineering.
5+ years in cleaning and lithography process engineering with CI experience.
Experience in optics industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and execute technical projects and teams.
Excellent written and verbal English for overseas reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize and implement process solutions meeting capability and manufacturability.
Data analysis including process capability, GD&T, FMEA & DMAIC (root cause analysis).
Support engineering and Operational KPIs: cost, uptime, 5S and safety.
Ensure smooth transfer of process solutions from development to Operations.
Maintain 5S in the development area and equipment.
Hands-on handling of products and equipment; measurement and quality judgment of product.
