Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Director, Government Relations (Malaysia/SE Asia) to lead AMD's government relations strategy, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy programs across Malaysia and key Southeast Asia markets.

You will work with AMD leadership, ministries, regulators, and industry bodies to shape policy, manage risk, and align investments with national tech priorities, delivering measurable outcomes for business growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or related discipline.
• Experience engaging senior government officials and policy makers.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior government officials, policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Lead engagement in Malaysia with ministries, agencies, and public institutions.
• Monitor, analyze and shape policy developments affecting AMD's priorities.
• Coordinate external stakeholder engagement for incentive programs and strategic partnerships.
