Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Manager SLT Product Development Engineer to lead NPI SLT team efforts. You will drive system-level test solutions for DCG products, partnering with architecture, design, software, and quality teams to deliver robust, cost-conscious test capabilities.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, optimizing test time, yield, and quality across AMD data center product families.

Qualifications

• Strong technical, analytical and leadership capabilities.
• Independent and resourceful mindset.
• Proficient understanding of x86 CPU and GPU architecture and standard bus protocols (DDR, PCIe, USB).

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop SLT solutions to meet milestones, cost and quality in system level area.
• Solve complex, novel, non-recurring problems; lead changes to processes/methods.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analyze to close production issues.
• Develop and architect SLT logging or data collection flow in manufacturing.
• Influence technical decisions with significant impact on final product.
• Collaborate with architecture/design teams, Product & Test Engineering, Customer Quality, software & platform teams.
• Provide technical supervision or mentoring to junior engineers.
• Upscale team capabilities on low level system debug for AMD data center product families.
