AMD is seeking a Director of Government Relations for Malaysia/SE Asia to lead the company’s government relations strategy, engage key government stakeholders, and advance policy and investment objectives across semiconductor design, AI, and digital infrastructure. The role partners with legal, compliance, and corporate teams to align AMD priorities with national policy goals.

Formación

• Extensive experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or related discipline.
• Experience working in or with the Malaysian government, government-linked institutions, multinational corporations, trade associations or consulting organizations.
• Strong understanding of Malaysia's political institutions and policymaking processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in semiconductors, technology or related sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior government officials, policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Lead engagement with ministries, agencies and public institutions on Malaysia and SE Asia policy matters.
• Monitor and shape policy developments affecting AMD's business, investment priorities and technology initiatives.
• Advise leadership on political, regulatory and geopolitical developments and provide regular executive reporting.
