Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a software engineering professional to develop product security within the IT Global Operations & Supply Chain team. You will analyze system performance affecting the AMD product life cycle and implement improvements to code quality.

The role requires a strong background in software development, debugging, and collaboration with global teams. A Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred, with experience across Java, C++, .NET, Python

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Systems Security or related field strongly preferred.
Extensive software development experience in Java, .Net, C++, Python, SQL, UNIX/Linux.
Knowledge of security principles, cryptography and encryption key management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop code, unit test, debug, and implement requests for programs, small projects, and system changes focusing on product security.
Assist in the development and documentation of system architecture and encryption management solutions.
Analyze and improve performance of the infrastructure and applications.
Collaborate across ecosystem partners to improve security of the compute base from CPU to GPU.
Engage with diverse stakeholders and support global business users to meet SLAs.
