Job summary

MISC Marine, the Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group, is seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design, development, testing and deployment of information systems across the fleet.

You will oversee project and budget management, asset and configuration management, cybersecurity and stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable IT services for vessels and operations.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ proven solution design experience within a complex, multi-site IT environment.
• 5 years proven resource, project, and IT budget management experience.
• Experience in managing vendors and outsourcing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Define and gather the business entity’s needs in information system solutions and lead innovation efforts.
• Lead design and development of IT solutions to meet quality, performance, and architectural requirements.
• Lead testing, debugging and deployment to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software.
• Plan and maintain IT service delivery including asset/configuration management and policy enforcement.
• Undertake project management including estimation, scheduling and resource management for ship & fleet IT initiatives.
• Stakeholder management to drive IT initiatives and secure best contractual terms.
• Oversee cybersecurity, vendor liaison and assurance activities for vessels’ networks.
• Develop people and leadership capabilities within the team.
• Support MISC Marine’s vision and institutional capabilities.
