Job summary

Next Energy Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Systems & Infrastructure Executive to lead internal system development, digitalization, and user adoption across departments.

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining systems, managing access, assets, and security while enabling efficient digital workflows. The candidate should have 2–5 years in IT systems/infrastructure, strong troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in IT systems, IT infrastructure, system administration, IT support, or a similar role.
• Experience with business systems and CRM/workflow platforms; familiarity with AI productivity tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, devices, and access management.
• Ability to implement or manage internal business systems and train users.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes through technology and systemization.
• Build, configure, and implement internal systems based on the company’s operational requirements.
• Set up and customize systems for different departments according to their workflows and needs.
• Work closely with department heads and users to understand requirements and improve system functionality.
• Ensure systems are properly documented, maintained, and continuously improved.
• Coordinate with external vendors or software providers where required.
• Assess each department’s current processes and identify areas suitable for digitalization.
• Set up appropriate tools, systems, workflows, and access permissions for each department.
• Drive user adoption and ensure employees actively utilize the systems provided.
• Monitor system usage and identify gaps or areas requiring improvement.
• Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to management.
• Troubleshoot basic system and user-related issues.
• Conduct onboarding and system training for new and existing employees.
• Prepare user guides, SOPs, training materials, and system documentation.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees on the use of internal systems.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all company IT assets and manage asset lifecycle.
• Manage user access to company systems, applications, devices, and shared resources.
• Maintain proper IT asset management procedures.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and disposal of IT assets.
• Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including network, servers, cloud services, and related systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Identify infrastructure issues and resolve them or escalate as needed.
• Support IT security controls, backups, access procedures and compliance.
