Job summary

MISC Group, through MISC Marine, is seeking an experienced professional to lead E&I/DP design, supervision, and project management for newbuilding projects. You will oversee technical specifications, testing, and acceptance, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and asset longevity.

The role emphasizes coordination with shipyards, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimize vessel performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation or Electronics or equivalent.
• 8–15 years in design & engineering in marine and shipping project management.
• Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering background and offshore/shipbuilding exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and review E&I/DP technical specifications and shipboard design for newbuilds.
• Plan, supervise and approve factory testing and commissioning of E&I/DP systems.
• Coordinate with shipyards on subcontractors to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage performance metrics.
• Prepare weekly to yearly reports on E&I/DP progress and lessons learned.
