Job summary

MODEC is seeking a Section Lead, Information Technology to drive regional IT services across Malaysia and nearby regions. The role oversees service desk, infrastructure, network, security and FPSO project IT delivery, ensuring secure, reliable operations and alignment with global IT strategy.

The successful candidate will manage multi-site delivery, governance, and budgeting, while partnering with global IT and local management to strengthen security posture and service quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise IT with leadership experience.
• Proven multi-country/multi-site IT governance with FPSO or offshore experience.
• Fluent in English; strong communication across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional IT team across service desk, infra, network and security.
• Own IT budget, procurement and vendor performance.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and audits across the region.
• Deliver IT services aligned with project milestones and business needs.
