Job summary

Celestica is seeking an Operations Engineering Advisor in Penang to drive testability reviews, ensure DFT rule conformance, and model coverage for the layout and fixtures. The role collaborates with design and software teams to optimize test points and boundary scan chains before production release.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in DFT or test engineering, strong experience with boundary scan and ICT tooling, and a degree in electrical or electronic engineering.

Qualifications

• Four to eight years of experience in DFT or test engineering.
• Boundary scan, ICT and coverage analysis tooling expected.
• Degree in electrical or electronic engineering.

Responsibilities

• Run the testability review inside design.
• Check test point access, boundary scan chains, debug and provisioning access against the DFT rules, and model coverage against the MTRS before the layout is frozen.
• Supports functional test definition and early build debug for the assigned site.
• Review schematic and layout against the DFT rule set before freeze, and raise findings with evidence behind the rule.
• Model structural and functional coverage and report gaps against the MTRS.
• Work the disposition with design and software: test point addition, chain correction or an agreed alternative.
• Verify achieved coverage on the first fixture and record the difference against the claim.
• Propose DFT rule changes from escapes and from fixture rework.
