Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an Application & Solution Development Engineer to join the EISG COE and drive next-generation boundary scan solutions in manufacturing.

You will translate customer needs into tailored software architectures, develop test programs, and collaborate with R&D to improve product planning, benchmarking, and training. The role requires 3+ years in product development and knowledge of JTAG/IEEE 1149.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or software-related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in product development/engineering and product management.
• Knowledge of ICT system (Keysight i3070, i1000 or similar) is required.
• Knowledge of Boundary Scan (JTAG, IEEE 1149) test development and debugging.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and test strategies.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep technical application and test technology to develop solutions for boundary scan in manufacturing.
• Work with product planning to develop new solutions addressing customer requirements.
• Advocate for customers by understanding testing needs and designing tailored solutions with product integrations.
• Develop and debug ICT test programs per customer specs and maximize solution capabilities.
• Research new areas to improve testability and perform competitive benchmarking.
• Provide technical support and customer training related to the solutions.
