Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, electrical wiring, and AV systems in education, corporate, and training environments. The successful candidate will participate in on-site deployment projects and collaborate with teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.

• Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronic / Electrical or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and safety practices
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint and basic graphical software)
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and design skills
• Willing to travel and perform on-site work
• Technical knowledge and experience in Switches, Router and Firewall will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical wiring, cabling, and power setup for IT and AV equipment
• Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems (e.g. displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, interactive panels)
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment
• Computer hardware/networking troubleshooting skills
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment
• Provide technical support and advice to clients
• Support sales team for product demonstration, training, POC
• Must be result-orientated and able to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
