Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst in Malaysia to provide first-line IT support for Windows 10 and Office 365, and to assist with imaging, asset inventories, and documentation. You will ensure compliance with standards and deliver remote assistance when needed.

The role involves escalating complex issues to third-party vendors, creating work instructions, and supporting end-users across devices and software, including Intune. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience in Desktop Support, Microsoft Intune.
• Previous IT helpdesk and/or call centre support experience, including remote support via telephone or remote tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of workstation support and related components.

Responsibilities

• Provides desktop support as the first contact point for customers.
• Address a range of IT topics and issues and ensure software, licenses and operations comply with standards.
• Imaging/re-imaging systems as needed.
• Perform asset inventories.
• Escalate technical issues to 3rd party vendors or resolver groups.
• Create and update work instructions and document standards and procedures.
