Majorel in Malaysia is seeking a desktop support professional to assist staff with installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripherals, and software within established standards and guidelines.

The role involves one-on-one consultations, remote desktop troubleshooting for distant staff, and collaboration with Help Desk and Operations as a level 2 resource to resolve client issues across a Microsoft-centric environment.

Competenze

1-3 years’ experience in desktop support.
Extensive experience supporting end users in a Microsoft-centric client-server environment.
Solid knowledge of incident/ticket management systems, remote support tools, and software deployment/distribution.

Mansioni

Assists staff with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripherals and software within standards.
Virtual desktop troubleshooting for remote staff.
Perform laptop/desktop/printer and hardware setup and configurations.
Work with vendor support to resolve desktop hardware/software problems.
Collaborate with Help Desk and Operations as a level 2 resource to resolve client issues.
Interact with multiple computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment.
Ensure desktops interconnect with related servers and systems.
Train staff on hardware/software usage.
Recommend/perform system upgrades for longevity.
Coordinate purchases with procurement for hardware/software.
