Job summary

RAPID SYSTEMZ PTE. LTD. is seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide daily IT infrastructure support across systems, networks and end-user devices.

You will configure Windows servers, manage on-premises and cloud VM environments, and participate in deployment and production setups. • Hands-on experience with Windows environments is required.
• Strong Microsoft-related knowledge and qualifications are expected.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Able to work independently with all levels of personnel.
• Good prioritization skills and deadline-driven.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Cloud experience with MS Azure and security tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT infrastructure/operations support via helpdesk, remote and onsite.
• Configure and maintain on-premises and cloud server hardware and VMs, storage and networking gear.
• Assist in infrastructure design for IT services based on requirements and offerings.
• Manage Windows OS and Windows Server environments.
• Implement proactive improvements by reviewing past issues and weaknesses.
• Follow change, incident and problem management processes.
• Perform system/database setup, patching, backup, DR and automation tasks.
• Troubleshoot IT infrastructure and application issues.
• Support data migration, integration, monitoring, security and compliance.
• Participate in system integration, UAT/FAT/SAT, deployment and production setup.
