Job summary

Lumagrid Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced interior design and project management professional to liaise with developers, architects, interior designers and consultants, and to review and optimize design solutions for project implementation.

You will coordinate between China-based design, technical and supply-chain teams and the Malaysia project team, manage design development, drawings, materials and schedules, and oversee on-site installation, quality control and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and execution capabilities.
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience; strong candidates with 3+ years may be considered.
• Experience in interior fit-out, architectural design or project management.

We provide integrated services covering design optimization, product integration, industrialized manufacturing, supply-chain management, installation and project delivery, focusing on hotels, serviced apartments, high-end residential and commercial projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with developers, architects, interior designers and consultants.
• Review and optimize architectural and interior design solutions for project implementation.
• Coordinate between China-based design, technical and supply-chain teams and the Malaysia project team.
• Manage design development, drawings, materials, samples and project schedules.
• Coordinate project site execution, installation, quality control and handover.
• Coordinate developers, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to resolve project issues.
• Source, evaluate and manage local contractors and installation teams.
• Assist LumaGrid in establishing its local project delivery and installation network in Malaysia.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or related disciplines.
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience; strong candidates with 3+ years of solid project delivery experience may also be considered.
• Experience in interior fit-out, architectural design or project management.
• Familiar with Malaysia's renovation, fit-out and construction processes.
• Proven site coordination and project execution experience.
• Able to read architectural, interior and construction drawings.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and execution capabilities.
• Able to independently manage projects and coordinate multiple parties.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Responsible, hands‑on and results-oriented.

COMPENSATION

Basic Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000/month

Depending on experience and project responsibilities, the company may additionally provide:
